Screen size, seating distance, riser height, speaker positions and acoustic treatment are decided on plan. Get those right and modest equipment sounds extraordinary; get them wrong and nothing rescues the room.
We also design relaxed media rooms, spaces that live as a family room by day and perform properly at night.

We model the room before construction so joinery, structure and services all agree.

Acoustics & finishes
The quiet part of a great cinema.
Isolation and treatment are what stop a cinema disturbing the rest of the house, and what stop the room ruining the mix.
- Coordination with your architect or interior designer on fabric, panels and ceiling treatment.
- Attention to noise paths: doors, ducts, structure and equipment location.
- Concealed speakers behind acoustically transparent finishes where the design calls for it.
Control
One press, and the room becomes a cinema.
Lighting, shading, climate, sources and display all move together, nobody should hunt through inputs in the dark.

- Lighting that fades as content starts and returns gently when paused.
